Day 2 - 5 - Explore South Luangwa National Park

Spend the next 4 days exploring everything that this area has to offer. 

From game drives (early morning and afternoon), walking safaris (typically early in the morning), to boat cruises on the Luangwa River (including a sunset cruises), there is something for everybody’s taste and liking. You will be able to experience African wildlife such as such as elephants, lions, leopards, wild dogs, cheetah, hippos, crocodiles as well as antelopes and a plethora of birds. All activities are designed with minimal disturbance to wildlife in mind so that you can experience the natural rhythm of life in the South Luangwa National Park.

After your morning activity you may decide to simply relax alongside the lodge’s infinity pool, overlooking the vast Luangwa River before embarking on more game activities in the afternoon.

Game activities include:

• two game viewing activities per day (game drives and walking safaris in dry season, Boat cruises and game drives (Emerald season, subject to water levels – mid-Feb to late-April / early-mid May)
• cultural/village tour / local school visit on request instead to the game drive
• visit local market, Mulberry Mongoose and Tribal Textiles on request instead of a game drive

Dinner under the star lit canopy of the African sky awaits you upon your return to the lodge.
