Gondwana Tours & Safaris is helping shape the future of children in Maun

At Gondwana Tours & Safaris, we believe that tourism should contribute meaningfully to the communities in which we operate. This belief is reflected in our support for Lehikeng, a community-focused organisation working to create a brighter future for children in Maun.

Through the Gondwana Tours & Safaris “Pay It Forward” initiative we are able to provide financial support towards Lehikeng’s administration and volunteer engagement. While these areas often operate behind the scenes, they are essential to the success and sustainability of community programmes.

Our support helps Lehikeng run its daily operations, coordinate activities, engage volunteers and maintain the foundation it needs to serve children and families, while extending its reach and rallying broader support for its work.

Meaningful community development takes more than short-term interventions. Local organisations need reliable backing so they can plan, operate smoothly and build sustainable programmes. Investing in Lehikeng’s capacity is an investment in its long-term impact, and it reflects Gondwana Tours & Safaris’ commitment to responsible tourism and community development.

We are deeply grateful to the Lehikeng team and its volunteers for their commitment, energy and service. We look forward to supporting their journey as they reach more children, strengthen community participation and build a more hopeful future across Maun and Ngamiland, so every child can learn, grow and realise their potential.

Together, we can help create opportunities that enable every child to learn, grow and realise their potential.
